Standard Hardware, Finishes and Screens

Traditionally, Bays are made from three windows: a large picture window flanked by smaller windows on the sides that are set at 30º, 45º, 60º or 90º degree angles. Marvin Bays can be made out of any number of windows, placed at nearly any angle you can imagine. Retrofit Return Option

The Retro Fit Bay and Bow Return for Square Jamb Application option allows for a projecting window to replace a standard rectangular window. The return simplifies installation because it conforms to the 90° angle of the existing opening. This makes it easy to set a dramatic bow or bay window into an existing, standard square opening.

Performance Glass Options

Glazing options such as LoĒ2-272® and LoĒ3-366® enhance energy performance. Tripane glazing, available with argon or krypton gas, provides excellent energy performance. Tripane features two coated panes of glass with a third pane spaced between them. It’s available with LoĒ2-272 on both panes, with LoĒ-179 on both panes for high SHGC, or with LoĒ3-366 on the exterior pane and LoĒ-179 on the interior pane for low SHGC. Tempered and laminated glazing options are available to meet special safety and impact requirements.
